Skills acquisition and skills enhancement is the need of the hour with thousands of educated youths finding it difficult to find employment in accordance with their educational qualifications. DATA organise skill development programmes for employees as well as graduates who aspire for employment. One of the prominent focus areas of the Institute is skill enhancement of the teaching faculty, as the Institute believes that teachers have direct contact with the youth who will form the future workforce of the country. A number of programmes have been envisaged to assist the teaching faculty to obtain the required skills to identify and channel the skill sets in children in the right direction. Training programmes organised for teachers include leadership development, creative thinking, mind management, emotional intelligence, conflict management and the pursuit of excellence. The programmes are organised on campus as well as off-campus and tailored according to the needs of various institutes, schools and colleges.
