Our OET coaching centre in Ernakulam/Kochi first evaluates the weak areas of candidates before commencement of actual classes. Our methodology comprises of a combination of classroom OET training and OET practise from home. Regular tests are conducted to assess the progress and remedial measures adopted.

OET or the Occupational English Test is a test to assess the ability of healthcare professionals to comprehend and communicate effectively in English. The candidate is assessed for Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking skills with importance given to clear communication in medical professional settings. Unlike IELTS which tests academic English, OET tests the candidate’s healthcare English. Occupational English Test is recognised by the regulatory healthcare boards of Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA, Ireland, Singapore among others.

OET assessment format

OET comprises of four sub-tests:

• Listening
• Reading
• Writing
• Speaking

OET scoring

Scoring for each of the sub-tests is on a grade from 0-500. The numeric score for each of the sub-tests is then graded from A to E with no overall gradeof the sub-tests. A score of 450-500 is considered Grade A, whereas 0-90 makes grade E.
